3.The way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled,pain-free life equals happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness:本句主语是the way,其修饰成分较长,people cling to the belief that a fun-filled,pain-free life equals happiness作定语修饰the way,该定语中,that引导的名词性从句作belief的同位语。介词短语of ever attaining real happiness作定语修饰chances。 He clings to the belief that one day he will be able to return to his native home. He clings to the belief that one day he will be able to return to his native home.
