是翻译《天衢丹阙：老北京风物图卷》的序言，以下是部分真题内容：
画家刘洪宽先生怀着对老北京的深厚情感和对古都的热爱，花甲之年，创作了这幅50余米的国画长卷《老北京风物图卷》。他凭借儿时记忆，实地写生和查阅历史资料，由南到北，再现了老北京中轴线上的人情风物，历经五年心血筑成，令人敬服。他笔下的老北京古韵犹存，街道商铺、行人市景与老城门城墙交相辉映，这可谓现代版的《清明上河图》，呈现了一幅美丽的可以“触摸历史”的宏大画卷。
画家作者知我60多年来，一直为古都的保护奔走于占城内外、大街小巷和中轴线上，与古都结下了深厚的情缘，特嘱我为序。于是写了几句知语感言，权以充之，并借以为画卷出版之祝贺。至于画中的精美图景和丰富的文化内涵，还请高明观者自己去观赏和评说，在此不作多赘。

Population ageing has become a world-wide phenomenon Moreover, it has not only come to stay but, especially in the developing countries, it will become more felt and acute with the passage of time .Its repercussions are so wide-ranging and manifold that they can only be ignored at tremendous cost to society.
The growing rate of population ageing poses many challenges which have to be faced realistically. A number of decisions have to be taken with the cooperation of every social institution, be it the State, Non-Governmental Organizations, the community, the family members and last but not least, older persons themselves. Each has a very important role to play in ensuring a sustainable development for the elderly population.
Governments and civil society including organizations of older persons, academia, community-based organizations and the private sector need to help in capacity building on ageing issues . As the Shanghai Implementation Strategy points out, “A Life-course and inter-sectoral approach to health and well-being is the best approach to ensure that both current and future generations of older persons remain healthy and active”.
The gap between the projected increases of older population and the consequently required needed to carry out these services, programmes have to be tailored to the nature of participants, the work they are doing and the needs entailed .Though the basic issues dealt with might often be the same,the approach differs . It will be important in the not too distant future to explore innovative ways of providing education
And training in rural and remote areas and to apply, as much as possible, the new and emerging communication technologies to facilitate and enhance these programmes .
Ever member of society should realize that aging is a process
Consequently, older persons are to be seen as equal citizens of any society, sharing the same rights like other citizens. Any form if discrimination is to be eradicated.【参考译文】
人口老龄化已经成为世界性的现象。这一现象不仅会延续，随着时间的推移，对发展中国家的影响还会加重。它的影响涉及各个领域，如果忽略不管，只会给社会造成极大的损害。人口老龄化速度的不断加快，我们必须正视随之而来的挑战。一些重要的决定需要多方面共同的协作才能作出，其中包括国家、非政府组织、社区、家庭成员以及老人们。以上的各方对于实现老年人口的可持续发展都至关重要。
政府以及老年人组织、学术界、社区组织和私人组织等非官方机构都应作出努力以解决人口老龄化问题。就像上海行动纲领中写到的“对于人口健康终身的帮助以及各方的共同努力是我们保障未来老年人口健康最好的方式”。
老年人口不断地增加与所需服务以及相关服务人员不足之间的矛盾要求我们必须把培训相关人员提上议事日程。培训方案需要适应相关接受服务人员的性质，他们从事的工作以及他们的需求。虽然人群具体的要求不同，但解决方法却不同。在不久的将来，我们需要探索新的方式在农村和偏远地区进行教育和培训，以及在这些地区应用新兴的技术来支持培训计划。

韶关市地处粤北山区，与湖南、江西交界，素有“三省通衙”之誉，是古代岭南通往中原的最关键关口，今天更是广东通往内地的交通枢纽——京广铁路。江珠高速公路、国道105线、106线、107线、323线，在建的武广铁路，规划中的绍赣铁路、广乐高速公路和绍赣高速公路均经过韶关。韶关还拥有丰富的土地、矿产、动植物。旅游和水资源。这些都为韶关的协调和可持续发展奠定了坚实的物资基础。
改革开放以来，韶关城乡面貌发生了举世瞩目的变化。随着珠江三角洲的产业升级转型，越来越多的企业家将目光投向韶关市——一个拥有巨大的发展优势和发展前景的理性地。【参考译文】
Shao Guan is located in the mountainous areas in the northern part of Guangdong province. It is in the vicinity of Hunan and Jiangxi province which is regarded as “the intersection of three provinces”. In ancient times, it was an important place which connected the southern part of Guangdong with the central area. Today, it is a hub of communication with other parts of China with Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, National Road 105,106,107,323, Wuhan-Guangzhou Railway under construction as well as Shaoguan-Ganzhou Railway, Guangzhou-Leshan Expressway and Shaoguan-Ganzhou Expressway in the plan runnin gacrossit. Shaoguan also has abundant land, tourist and water resources and is rich in minerals, plant and animals which lays a solid foundation for the coordinated and sustainable development there.
Since China carries out its reform and opening to the outside world, great changes have taken place in Shaoguan. With the update of industry in Pearl River Delta, more and more entrepreneurs begin to regard it as a paradise for development with its unique advantages.
