该句要表达两个意思,即“越来越多的人受到此类励志故事的鼓舞”和“越来越多的人涌向大城市”,若用两个相同的“主谓宾”结构表达,就会使句子略显冗长。但该句让分词短语inspired by such success stories置于主语前面,在此处强调原因,使得整个句子简洁而不落俗套。变化句子长短

例如:2001年“奉献爱心”话题,考生通过构思要得出助人为乐的判断,如果考生论证出要对自己有爱心,为了个人利益而不顾他人,会按跑题处理。2004年“终点又是新的起点”话题,考生须破解出坚持不懈、发展与进步的主旨。如果考生持个人观点,认为终点不一定是新的起点,并加以论证,这样的写作就违背了命题人的初衷。第三节 常用写作词汇
