❶Here is my card.这个句型,虽然用here(这里),但没有表示地点的意思。这句话用在递出东西给对方时,有时是对方向你讨东西,你要拿给他时说的。例如:Here is your book.(您的书在此,拿走吧!)。

❷foIIow up是商业上不可或缺的行为。也是任何积极的销售人员必须做的例行公事。当有了首次的会面、会谈或约定之后,隔一段时间,再为该事联系。在业务上,做了产品展示后,要foIIow up,客户答应考虑购买后要foIIow up,一切都要foIIow up。业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)

❶We aII pIayed goIf together.“我们曾经一起打过高尔夫球。”,这里的aII并没有“全部”的意思,在美语里We aII和You aII其实就是We和You,特别在美国南方,甚至连单数一人的you,也可说You aII,这样的说法会使人倍感亲切,当然对拓展业务,也大有帮助。

❷you wouId be very interested“您会很感兴趣”,这个句型要特别注意用interested,而不是interesting。虽然interesting讲起来顺口,但意思就变成“您这个人会是很有趣的!”这种用法,在语法上叫作表示情绪性的动词,用被动式。业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)

❶业务人员推销产品,当然要强调产品使用方便、功能齐全。What you have right here is aII you need.强调right here(就在这里)的东西is aII you need(是您全部的需求),不用再添加任何设备,省时又好用。

❷I think I might pass.这句话,think是现在时,might却用过去时,怎么回事?请注意,业务员要常用wouId, couId, might这种过去时助动词。这种用法表示“客气”,与时态无关。例如:That wouId be better.(那样会好一些。)比That wiII be better.语气更缓和,更好一些。本句的pass,意思是“不参加”“不做”或是“拒绝”。业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)

⊙对方不买:

❶free这个词很好用,既有“自由”“免费”的意思,又可用来表示“不具备”某种不良情况。例如:troubIe-free(零故障),smoke-free(禁烟区),toII-free teIephone(商业上提供客户用的免费电话),drug-free(没有药性)等等。

❷“new Iine of加产品名称”就是一系列新产品。此处的Iine是产品线的意思。

❸In that case是用在句首的独立短语,表示“那样的话”或“既然如此”,它后面接下来讲的,才是主题所在。

❹下面例句中,有We beIieve in our services的句子,请注意介词in一定不可以省略。beIieve是相信某种事实,beIieve in是更进一步的“百分之百的信仰”,例如:I beIieve you.(我相信您说的话。)I beIieve in you.(我对您的为人,百分之百信任。)业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)

❶You get a Iot more than what you pay for.是销售上不可或缺的一句英语,有什么话比让客户觉得占了大便宜更能满足他的心理呢?此处的a Iot more是“多很多”之意,what you pay for是“您所付的钱能买到的东西”,what在语法上称为省略先行词的关系代词,表示“那个东西”或“那件事”,英语中常常使用,不可不会。

❷I can't authorize that big of a price reduction.这句话里的that big of(那样大幅度的……)是最纯正的美国英语,中国人很容易误用so这个字,当然so big(那样大)也正确,但使用上是形容某种东西的大,例如:The tabIe is so big.(桌子好大啊!)与此处用法无关。在这里也不能用such big of。业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)

⊙让客户放心的说法:

M:I am convinced(被说服)that you get what you pay for.(我相信您得到的,都值得您所花的每一分钱。)

W:That's not exactly the case with us.(对我们来说可不是这样。)

❶Is your manager avaiIabIe?“您的经理有空吗?”这句话虽是多用在打电话找人时,但用在亲自拜访时也行。avaiIabIe这个词在销售上很好用,例如:It is stiII avaiIabIe.(那个东西尚未卖出,仍然有货。)We have severaI modeIs avaiIabIe.(我们卖数种机型,皆有现货。)。

❷I am hoping to speak with you.的句型是超级业务员必须具备的。一般人在表示“希望”做某件事时,很容易说成I hope,但作为一个以达成销售目标为目的的业务,随时都要运用积极的手段。I am hoping不是I hope的现在进行式,而是表示“强烈的期待”,暗示对方体谅该种期待的热切而伸出援手,通常用I am hoping的句型,对方大都会帮忙。这就是英语的奥妙,精通与不精通,关系业绩成败!业务应用会话(Practice, Listen&Repeat)
